“And why did you appear in one, daddy?”
April 24, 2009 1
Some day, my son (given I will have one some day) might ask me: “Why did you make fun of newspapers and still appeared in one?”.
The answer is simple: for now, traditional media aren’t dead. Yet. Their importance is declining, and it is declining fast (make sure to read Jeff Jarvis‘ “What Would Google Do?” who was interviewed in De Morgen as well), but still many people have breakfast with the newspaper close, read magazines, buy compact discs. And as we are in marketing and selling our vision is as important as doing our daily job, we are always on the lookout to spread our message. Even in newspapers. Especially in newspapers… Don’t you love the contrast of two “radically digital” guys in a print medium ;).
Enjoy the interview (in Dutch) below.
